FILIPINO FIGHTING ARTS INT’L
GOES TO THE OZAWA CUP 2010 IN LAS VEGAS

The Ozawa Cup is one of the most prestigious and popular karate tournaments in the United States, usually held every year in a major casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Held annually since 1981, it draws competitors from numerous countries around the world.
In 2010, it was held on April 1 – 4 at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. As in the past, the Filipino Fighting Arts Int’l (FFAI) – Las Vegas in conjunction with the Shotokan Karate-do Club of Las Vegas fielded their contestants. They won 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze Medals during the tournament, competing with karate fighters from over 15 different countries.
Congratulations to all the winners, participants, parents and other supporters, as well as the hardworking senseis and officers of this club, including guro Jun Odal of FFAI – Las Vegas.
