Filipino Fighting Arts Int’l (FFAI) is pleased to announce and endorse an upcoming international arnis and karate event on Aug. 20 and 21, 2011 in Las Pinas City, Philippines. Called World Cup International, it is hosted by GM Jun Matagay and his organization. FFAI headed by Founder Godofredo Fajardo will be participating in the scheduled events. See details below. TIPUNAN SA PANGASINAN BEACH TRAINING
Y’all are invited to Tipunan sa Pangasinan, a martial arts training camp
at a beach resort in Binmaley Beach, Binmaley, Pangasinan.
Training will be provided by Filipino Fighting Arts Int’l (FFAI) masters and other guest masters in arnis, silat, karate, kickboxing and self-defense.
Get a jump on summer with this fun event. It is beach blanket bingo meets Lapu-Lapu on the shores of Pangasinan. Make your reservations now; space is limited.

Final Reminder!
The 1st Filipino Fighting Arts Int’l (FFAI) Palarong Arnis 2010 will be held this coming Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 at the Antonio Maceda Integrated School in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines. There will be huge cash prizes at stake at the laban laro Grand Championships, men’s and women’s divisions, as well as valuable door prizes including kamagong weapons handcrafted and donated by
GM Nilo Limpin.

On Nov. 1, 2010, arnis Grandmaster Ernesto Presas died
in Manila at the age of 65. His mortal remains were
brought to his hometown of Hinigaran, Negros Occ. where
he was eventually interred on Nov. 11, 2010.

I attended the Arnis Philippines tournament called Arnis Cup 2010 held at the Gaisano City Mall in Bacolod City, in the Visayas in the Philippines on Oct. 2, 2010. I was also able to revel in the 31st MassKara Festival celebrated every year around this time by Bacolod City.

Tipunan International, under the auspices of Filipino Fighting Arts Int'l (FFAI) headed by Master Godofredo Fajardo, will be hosting an arnis tournament in Manila on Dec. 12, 2010, Sunday. The venue will be the Antonio Maceda Integrated School in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines.
The tournament is open to all styles.
There will be competitions for men and women in anyo as well as laban laro. There will be also be an Open Championship in laban laro for men and women, and cash prizes will be awarded to the first three places in the men's and women's division. There will also be valuable door prizes awarded throughout the tournament.
Numerous arnis teams are expected from greater Manila, as well as Luzon and the Visayas.

I will be in the Philippines from around the middle of June through possibly the end of the year 2010. I will be based in Luzon, travelling sporadically all over the country.
